The admissions process requires faculty to visit diverse regions of the tropics every year to promote the University and identify young men and women interested in applying.
These young people are required to take entrance exams, participate in interviews and provide in-depth scholastic and personal information enabling the University to select approximately 112 new students each year.
These students learn from 47 professors and directors, 60 percent of whom have PhDs. Hailing from 19 countries, these faculty members live and teach on campus.
With a graduation rate of 86 percent, the University focuses on recruiting students with the potential and commitment to become agents of change.
