Continuing Education Program The Continuing Education Program’s mission is to facilitate the exchange of information between the University, institutions and individuals working toward sustainable development in the tropics while strengthening the relationships between EARTH and the scientific, academic, institutional, business and NGO communities.
The Program’s interaction with neighboring communities allows EARTH to learn how to improve the agricultural production, administration and marketing situation of hundreds of local farmers. It also fosters the development of community-based education, research and tourism activities.
The Program is made up of the Community Development Program, Strategic Training, the Center for Entrepreneurial Training, External Events, and Educational Tourism.

International Academic Programs EARTH’s International Academic Programs Office coordinates the international academic training of university students and professors interested in protecting the natural and cultural diversity of the Latin American tropics through the application of theory and practice.
The office creates programs that combine classroom activities with fieldwork, projects and research, and coordinates internships with businesses and NGOs related to the national and international agricultural sector.
The program offers the following international education options:

- Trimester study abroad programs at EARTH for international students
- Intensive short courses
- Study visits
