EARTH’s research strives to make careful and efficient use of the region’s natural wealth. Recent and current projects include:

ChagaSpace – A project with NASA and nine other international research institutions that works to find a cure for Chagas disease, which is believed to affect eight to 11 million people in Mexico, Central America and South America.
